Kitchen decor is something that can be easily overlooked, but it makes a huge difference! Of all the rooms in my apartment, I spend some of the most time in the kitchen either cooking or cleaning or eating. Since decorating my kitchen, it has felt so much more inviting and enjoyable to spend time there. Don’t underestimate the impact of aesthetic kitchen items, and they can be practical too!
One of my favorite kitchen decor items is a marble cutting board. Not only is it pretty, but it is also super functional and durable. I use my marble cutting board for display, for charcuterie boards, and also as a traditional cutting board. I highly recommend investing in one because if you take care of it, it will last you a lifetime!
Another item I absolutely love in my kitchen are pretty cookbooks. With Pinterest and the internet, it might feel like cookbooks are a thing of the past, but I have discovered some of my favorite recipes in physical cookbooks. Find a couple that you will actually use, and display them on your counter!
Finally, I love small pieces of artwork in the kitchen. It adds so much charm and personality to an otherwise very functional space. Hang art over your stove, put it on an easel, or prop it in an unused countertop corner.

Your bedroom should be a sanctuary and somewhere that reflects your personality and how you want to feel. I personally want my bedroom to feel serene, cozy, and like a fancy hotel room! An amazing way to achieve calm in your bedroom is through the lighting you choose. I try to avoid overhead lighting and instead use candles and bedside lamps to get a warm glow in the room. I absolutely love these wall-mounted bedside lamps! They are perfect for small rooms or in situations where you don’t want to use bedside table space for a lamp. Tip: If you live in an apartment or you can’t route electricity to the lamps, use remote control battery operated lightbulbs instead!
I also recommend using rich colors in your bedroom, especially in the wintertime. I love the deep navy blue of the pillows I found and the pop of emerald green in the jewelry dish! Greenery is also a great way to add natural color, texture, and visual interest to your bedroom. I have greenery in a pretty vase displayed on my nightstand.

Starting off with the incredible green resin lion book ends! These look like you found them in an antique store and paid $100! Put them on a coffee table or on a bookshelf, and they would look so pretty! Another item I am loving from Amazon for your living room are the sea glass bead strands I found! They are so easy to lay on your coffee table or display on top of a book or shelf.
Finally, you can’t go wrong with a Capri Blue candle, and if you want to spice it up and elevate the look of the candle, add a glass dome over the candle when you are not burning it! It will feel so special and fancy!
